Psychological Services
Hello and welcome!
More than ever, this is a time when we all should feel safe, welcome, seen and heard. My values are centered on intentional kindness (and humor!). With all that’s happening in the world right now, diversity, equity, inclusion, acceptance and belongingness are exceedingly important. In our lives and certainly in my therapy space.
As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist I offer a warm, compassionate, individualized, best-practice approach that utilizes empirically supported therapies -typically Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other aligned approaches such as Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing. I am available to help you with many struggles and concerns. These include:
Anxiety, Worry, and Panic including Social Anxiety, Social Isolation, Low Self-Image / Self-Esteem.
Fears and Phobias of needles, blood, medical appointments, driving, flying, animals, insects, etc.
OCD and other Obsessive and Compulsive Behaviors and Thoughts.
ADHD and other Impulse Control difficulties.
PTSD, Chronic Stress, and other forms of Stress and Trauma.
Depression, Sadness, Grief and Loss.
Life Adjustment Difficulties, including school, career, sex, and relationships.
Sleep and Insomnia.
I typically work with adults, including college students, on an individual basis. I always individualize therapy with understanding, connection, a dash of good humor and a strong evidence-based therapeutic foundation. I’m here to help you become stronger, more resilient, solve life’s problems and create positive change. I approach therapy as a collaborative effort that addresses each person holistically and integrates knowledge of psychology, biology, physical health and social well-being.
I’m looking forward to talking with you for a complimentary phone consultation!
